PROCUREMENT OFFICER

 

QUALIFICATION

  • Diploma/Degree in Business Administration/Management or related discipline
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Words & Power Point
  • Good command over written and spoken English
  • Possess good negotiation and interpersonal skill, responsible, committed,  self motivated and achievement oriented
  • Able to perform work with less supervision, dynamic and exceeding expectations
  • Those without related qualification but have vast experience in related capacity shall also be considered
  • Willing to work in Jitra, Kedah Darul Aman

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review quotations for inventory and non inventory items. maintain information and relation with vendors/suppliers
  • Coordinate Purchase Orders and control delivery schedule and expedite for materials to be on time
  • Maintain quality of materials purchased, also involve in audit for Vendor Performance and development
  • Handling and monitoring of claims to vendors/suppliers for defectives, shortages and missing parts
  • Analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Monthly Report on procurement activities and keeping record as per ISO:9001 standards
  • To perform any other duties as and required by management
